About the role
As Philanthropy Manager (Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences), you will be working to secure philanthropic income at the five and low six-figure level from high-net-worth individuals to support the fundraising priorities of four faculties: Arts and Humanities, Social and Historical Sciences, Laws and Education and Society, as well as for UCL’s libraries, special collections, and cultural programmes.
In this new role for the Faculties Team, you'll be working to realise the potential of a strong pipeline of prospects and elevate the impact of philanthropy within the aforementioned faculties. UCL has much to offer philanthropists with a deep appreciation for the arts, culture, and humanities, and this role will give you the opportunity to work closely with colleagues in world-leading departments on a wide range of strategic funding propositions.
We are happy to consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible, and job share basis wherever possible (minimum FTE – equivalent of 4 days per week, stated salary to be pro-rata).
This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 20% on site. Please note our in-office anchor day for Advancement is a Tuesday, therefore this would be a required day in the office.
To find out more about the role, please contact Kate Birch, Head of Development (Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences) by email.
Please use the attached cover letter upload option to tell us how you meet the essential and desirable criteria in the person specification.
About you
We are seeking individuals who are target-driven and have a passion for building meaningful relationships with high-net-worth individuals. We are pleased to accept applications from individuals who possess transferable skills and experience drawn from sectors outside of Higher Education.
