Salary: £29,338 – £36,446
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexible working will be considered)
Location: Mix of home working and office based (office is at Alder Hey, Liverpool)

Job Summary:
As part of the Philanthropy Team, the Philanthropy Fundraiser is responsible for income from a portfolio of high value trusts, grantmakers and major donors. You will have relevant charity fundraising experience with exceptional writing skills to create compelling applications and proposals for funding. You will deliver excellence in the relationship management of both new and existing funders and donors in your portfolio, identifying prospects, networking, attending events and hosting bespoke meetings and visits to achieve your own financial target and grow sustainable income for the Charity. You will also manage a wide variety of internal stakeholder relationships with senior colleagues in Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
Essential:
Experience of developing relationships with trusts, grantmakers and/or high net worth individuals.
Experience of delivering income against agreed targets and timescales as well as other KPIs.
Experience of a range of research methods.
Experience of writing compelling proposals and funding applications.
Experience of efficiently managing and delivering a demanding and varied workload.
Experience of using a CRM system or database.
Desirable:
Experience of fundraising in the charity sector.
Experience of working with celebrities, influencers and other high-profile individuals.
Experience of developing budgets.
