Pharmacy Technician-Order Entry (340B)

Overview

NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for Pharmacy Technician Order Entry to join our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, AL. This opportunity has a Monday-Friday shift with working hours from 7am-4pm!

The Pharmacy Technician-Order Entry shall be responsible for the following in addition to normal Order Entry Technician Duties:

1. Being the point of contact/liaison for Order Entry questions or concerns from other areas
2. Preparing the daily duty schedule for other Order Entry technicians
3. Managing the Order Entry process
4. Keeping the pharmacy orders mailbox maintained
5. Overseeing the Order Entry portion of the Auto-ship process
6. Making sure that medication storage areas are scanned monthly for out-of-date products/cards

Position Requirements:

1. Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting or related field such as wholesale, drug, or medical supply distribution.
3. Active registration as a technician with the Alabama Board of Pharmacy.
4. PTCB certification is a plus.
