An established industry player is seeking ambitious Pharmacy Technicians to join their dynamic team. Due to the progression of previous post holders, we have exciting opportunities for ambitious, self-motivated and committed Pharmacy Technicians who are registered with the GPhC to join the Medicines Management and Pharmacy Services team at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals supporting the ward support service. Also, trainee Pharmacy Technicians who are due to qualify within the next six months are also invited to apply.
You will work as part of a large multi-disciplinary team who make a real difference to patient care. By taking a patient first approach you will focus on helping patients to optimise medicines. You will collaborate with other teams, communicating effectively to ensure a safe, seamless integrated transfer of care for patients.

Main duties of the jobWorking as part of a large multidisciplinary team, you will provide a service to our inpatients at LTHT.
There will be an opportunity to be involved with and potentially lead improvement work to provide the best care for our patients and to grow and develop the next generation of pharmacy professionals.
All necessary training will be provided, and we will support you through a structured learning pathway.

As part of your role, you will be required to work evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays on a rotational basis. These posts will be based at either St James' Hospital or LGI.
Ideally, we are looking for full time, 37.5 hours a week however we do have a flexible approach to the working hours.
