Locum Pharmacy Technician - High Pay, Flexible Contract in Devon!

Are you a qualified Pharmacy Technician looking for a rewarding dispensary role in Devon? We have an exciting opportunity with competitive pay and flexible hours, starting in March 2025!

Key Details:

  1. Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (Dispensary - ACT Preferred)
  2. Location: Devon
  3. Duration: Ongoing
  4. Schedule: Full-Time (Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm, 1 Hour Lunch)
  5. Start Date: March 2025
  6. Rate of Pay: £18-£30 per hour (Depending on experience)
  7. Hospital Experience: Not required

A Day in the Life of a Pharmacy Technician: Join our team and help ensure the safe and efficient dispensing of medications in a hospital setting. Your core responsibilities include:

  1. Dispensing medications in a dispensary-based environment.
  2. Accuracy Checking of dispensed medications (ACT qualification is preferred).
  3. Ensuring compliance with pharmacy protocols and regulations.
  4. Working closely with healthcare teams to support patient care and medication management.
  5. Maintaining accurate medication records and ensuring patient safety.
  6. Providing advice and support on medication-related queries.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Essential:

  1. Qualified Pharmacy Technician.
  2. Strong communication and organizational skills.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

  1. Experience in a dispensary-based environment.
  2. Experience working within the NHS or similar healthcare settings.
  3. Knowledge of current pharmacy practices.
  4. Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) qualification.

Working Hours & Contract Duration: This is a full-time, ongoing role with the potential for extension. The contract offers a flexible working schedule from Monday to Friday, with standard working hours from 9am to 5:30pm. The position starts in March 2025.
