Job Title: Locum Pharmacy Technician (Band 5/6)
Location: Leeds, NHS Hospital
Duration: 3-6 months
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9AM - 5:30PM (1-hour lunch) - will consider 3 or 4 days per week
Start Date: ASAP
Rate of Pay: £18ph-£25ph (depending on experience)

What You'll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Locum Pharmacy Technician and play a key role in supporting hospital dispensary services. In this role, you will:

1. Work within the hospital dispensary, ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications.
2. Support pharmacists in reviewing prescriptions and providing medication advice.
3. Perform final accuracy checking (if ACT qualified) to ensure compliance with regulations.
4. Maintain accurate patient medication records and stock control.
5. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the smooth running of the dispensary.

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A valid GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician.
2. Hospital pharmacy or dispensary experience.
3. Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification (preferred but not essential).
4. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This flexible locum position offers full-time hours (Monday to Friday, 9 AM-5:30 PM), with part-time options (3-4 days per week) considered. The contract is for 3-6 months, with the potential for extension based on performance and service needs.
