Working Hours: WEEK 1, 2 and 3 = Monday to Friday 9am - 1:30pm, then 2pm - 5:30pm; WEEK 4 = Monday to Friday 9am - 1:30pm, then 2pm - 5:30pm. PLUS Saturday 9am - 12pm

Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a talented and experienced Pharmacist Manager to join our team in Stokenchurch. This branch is staffed with an experienced team including a Pharmacist Manager, 1 ACPT, 3 qualified HCPs, and 1 trainee HCP, providing an excellent service to the local community from their setting in a village. Currently dispensing around 8000 items per month, this is a relatively busy but steady branch. As well as providing a variety of services, this branch also utilizes our Medipac robotic distribution technology, which frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and adherence to regulatory standards
2. Oversee a dedicated team of pharmacy staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
3. Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines
4. Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care
6. Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management
7. Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory
8. Provide immunization services (where applicable)
9. Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products
10. Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives

What We Require

1. Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
2. Strong commitment to patient care and safety
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
5. Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends
6. A flexible and positive approach to problem-solving
