At North Manchester General Hospital Pharmacy, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer.
You will need good communication skills for liaising with ward staff, pharmacy staff, porters, and drivers. You must be able to work accurately and quickly under pressure and be committed to the delivery of high standards in a patient-focused service. Please note that there is an element of heavy lifting required on occasion. Equipment and training are provided.
The post offers an attractive salary and 27 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays) per year.
The role will include:
Previous pharmacy experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. You will be required to study for and gain an NVQ 2 qualification; if you already hold a level 4 qualification, you may be required to self-fund this qualification.
There will be a requirement to participate in extended hours working including late nights, weekends, and bank holidays on a rotational basis.
