Brief Description
Join our team as a pharmacy assistant and learn how to provide excellent customer service, support the prescription dispensing service, offer health advice, and keep the pharmacy well-stocked and organised. You will also gain a pharmacy qualification while working with us.

Qualifications Required
GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

Skills Required
Communication skills, Organisation skills

Training to be Provided
Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects
This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

Vacancy Detail
As a pharmacy assistant, you will acquire retail experience, knowledge of over-the-counter medicines, skills in prescription dispensing, responsibility for ordering pharmaceutical stock, and the ability to advise customers on minor ailments and over-the-counter medication.

£6.40ph but negotiable for the right applicant.

Other Information
Learning will be delivered online in a live virtual classroom environment in the pharmacy, so candidates need to be competent in and have access to a computer.
