Pharmacy Assistant

Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital | Pharmacy | Permanent contract | Part time |

£24,531 per annum (pro rata)
15 hours per week

The job is for 15 hours per week - in addition will include Saturday (4hrs) working on a rota basis (1 in 4).

As a Pharmacy Assistant at our Cambridge Hospital, you will hold a Buttercups (or equivalent) qualification in Pharmacy Services, and you’ll have proven post-qualification experience. It is also important that you have excellent communication and people skills, as you’ll be working closely with our patients and a variety of clinical staff. You will also have good computer skills.

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will:

  • Monitor stock levels within the Pharmacy department and maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Assist with the procurement of pharmaceutical stock for the pharmacy and other departments using appropriate electronic systems.
  • Monitor stock levels in designated ward/department areas by carrying out stock top ups.
  • Participate in pharmacy and departmental stock takes.
  • Help with general dispensing as required.
  • Provide general administrative support to the department.
