Job description

We are looking for an experienced Hospital Pharmacist to work with our client in Cambridgeshire. If you're looking for your next challenge, congratulations! You've just found it! Here are the top level deets:

Location: Cambridgeshire
Duration: Ongoing Contract
Schedule: Full-time (Monday - Friday), 9am - 5pm w/ 30mins for lunch.
Start Date: April 2025
Rate of pay: £27 - £40 per hour dependant on experience.

A Day in the Life of a Pharmacist

  1. As a Band 7/8a Locum Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in covering the neurology and surgery wards!
  2. Medicines reconciliation and drug chat screening
  3. Offering advice to patients on the wards
  4. Screening in the dispensary, inpatients, and outpatients
  5. Helping the ATOs and Pharm Techs with checking when needed.

Requirements and qualifications required for this role:

  1. Current and valid registration with the GPHC as a Pharmacist
  2. Hospital ward experience is essential.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  5. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
