Job responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Clinical Pharmacy Service Delivery: Participate in delivering a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to inpatient units.
- Inpatient and Community Support: Provide a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to inpatient wards and community mental health teams, ensuring alignment with Trust policies, procedures, and standards.
- Patient-Focused Care: Support patients in maximizing the benefits of their medications by conducting medicine-related consultations with patients and carers, involving them in treatment decisions, and improving satisfaction with the information they receive.
- Training and Education (Band 7): Upon progression to Band 7, take on the role of practice supervisor to support the training and education of trainee and junior pharmacists. Prescribe medications within your competence and scope of practice, after completing the post-graduate certificate in Independent Prescribing.

Qualifications
- You must be Fully Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- You must possess demonstrated experience in MPharm or equivalent
- Preferred Postgraduate certificate/diploma in mental health or pharmacy practice or the equivalent
- Preferred Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society or Member/associate member of the CMHP
