Job description

Amar Health are currently looking for a number of Pharmacists to work in a hospital setting.

Minimum Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 1 year experience as a clinical pharmacist.
  2. Previous ward experience is a bonus.
  3. Broad experience of working in pharmacy including working within a hospital pharmacy department.
  4. Experience of working with and influencing staff from other healthcare professions.
  5. Must be GPHC registered.
  6. Good oral & written communication skills.
  7. Demonstrates expert clinical knowledge with respect to the use of drugs.
  8. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  9. Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload.
  10. Able to use initiative to problem solve.
  11. Good interpersonal skills.
  12. Good supervision skills.
  13. Meets set targets.
  14. Good organisational skills and time management.
  15. Understanding of national and local priorities.
  16. Knowledge and implementation of clinical governance.
  17. Medicines information skills.
  18. Ability to use pharmacy computer systems and common Microsoft packages.
