Pharmacist

We are seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic Pharmacist to join our community pharmacy. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can deliver exceptional care under pressure. Our pharmacies are led by pharmacists who have years of experience within this pharmacy and the south west area. We are a family-owned company with the ownership of 3 pharmacies and looking to expand.

Key Details:

1. Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
2. TIER 2 VISA SPONSORSHIP IN PLACE.
3. Flexibility: The successful candidate may be required to work at any of our pharmacy branches on occasion.
4. Salary: £55k+ depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
2. Provide expert advice to patients regarding medication administration, potential side effects, and interactions with other drugs.
3. Conduct thorough medication reviews to ensure appropriateness for each patient's condition.
4. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to medication therapy.
5. Educate patients on health management strategies and promote wellness initiatives within the community.
6. Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and advancements in pharmaceutical care.

Skills:

1. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support effective medication management.
2. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication.
3. Proficiency in medication administration techniques and protocols.
4. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
5. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
