DNA Recruitment are looking for an experienced pharmacist to join our busy, independent pharmacy in Bedford, Bedfordshire.

Our client is an established and busy independent pharmacy that focuses on customer care and satisfaction who boast a portfolio of almost 20 pharmacies across the UK.

What's on offer

Position: Pharmacist
Location: Bedford, Bedfordshire
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm - No weekends
Salary: £60k basic + High service bonus scheme - Option of self-employed route up to £30ph + Service bonus

Main Responsibilities

1. Drive the business and services forward
2. Maintain strong relationships with local GPs
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with patients
4. Identify and act on new business opportunities
5. Ensure a first-class customer experience
6. Adhere to all relevant policies and legislation

Essential Requirements

1. Qualified pharmacist, registered with the GPhC
2. Strong leadership and decision-making skills
3. Excellent understanding of providing an enhanced customer experience
4. Ability to engage and motivate the team effectively
5. Capable of making day-to-day operational decisions, referring issues when necessary
6. Excellent customer service and communication skills
7. High standard of English and communication abilities
8. Good level of maths and organisational skills
9. Ability to work to deadlines and multitask
10. Commitment to confidentiality
11. Ability to build relationships with key partners
12. Willingness to learn and adapt
13. Strong passion for excellent patient care, along with commercial acumen
