Job Title: Pest Control Officer

Location: Camden

Pay Rate: £17.00 - £18.00 per hour

Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Pest Control Officer to join our team in Camden. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the health and safety of residents and the local environment by delivering effective pest control services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Survey sites and premises to assess levels of infestation from rats, mice, and insects.
2. Determine the most appropriate treatment methods and establish the required frequency of applications.
3. Safely apply rodenticides and other pest control measures, ensuring all materials are removed at the end of treatment.
4. Collect and dispose of rodent bodies following approved procedures.
5. Recommend further remedial works and preventative measures in conjunction with treatment programmes.
6. Maintain accurate records of pest control activities, including the application and removal of products from the poison store.

Essential Requirements:

1. A professional qualification in pest control, such as:

• Royal Society for Public Health Level 2 Certificate in Pest Management, or
• British Pest Control Association Level 2 in Pest Management, or equivalent.
