Are you a skilled Pest Control Officer with a Level 2 Certificate in Pest Control? Do you want to make a real difference in public health and environmental safety? Greenwich Council is looking for a dedicated professional to join our team, tackling pest-related issues and ensuring a clean, safe community for residents and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspect residential, commercial, and public properties for signs of pest infestations.
2. Identify and implement the most effective pest control solutions in line with legislation and best practices.
3. Carry out treatments for rodents, insects, and other public health pests safely and effectively.
4. Provide expert advice to residents, businesses, and internal teams on pest prevention and control measures.
5. Maintain accurate records of inspections, treatments, and actions taken.
6. Ensure compliance with public health, environmental, and safety regulations.

About You:

1. Qualified Professional: Must hold a Level 2 Certificate in Pest Control (BPCA/RSPH or equivalent).
2. Experienced: Previous experience in pest control, ideally within a local authority or similar setting.
3. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of pest species, control methods, and relevant legislation.
4. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess situations and apply effective pest control strategies.
5. Excellent Communicator: Confident in dealing with members of the public and businesses in a professional manner.
6. Full UK Driving Licence: Essential for travelling to various locations within the borough.
