Job description

Join our dedicated team as a Wellbeing & Accommodation Coach. We are committed to supporting individuals in achieving their personal and professional goals.

As part of the Dynamic Framework Accommodation & PWB services, ensure the delivery of effective interventions and stakeholder engagement both in custody and within the community. This role aims to support male participants across the region in addressing their housing and personal wellbeing (PWB) needs, ultimately reducing their likelihood of reoffending.

Our ideal candidate will offer one-on-one coaching and conduct group workshops to help participants manage their physical and mental health. They will develop personalised action plans to assist individuals in overcoming health and accommodation challenges, and support participants in identifying and accessing suitable accommodation options.

In return for your dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we’re offering a competitive salary range £24,650 up to £29,000 (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Location: Cookham Wood

Hours: 37 Hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Closing Date: 15 April 2025

Responsibilities include:

  1. Work in close partnership with probation practitioners in order to understand and respond to the specific and diverse housing & wellbeing needs of the participants.
  2. Carry out timely initial face to face assessments taking account of risk situation and need in order to facilitate any appropriate actions and outcomes.
  3. Meet individual performance targets and contribute towards meeting team performance targets in line with contract compliance.
  4. Adhere to the Seetec & HMPPS Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times and comply with legislation and statutory duties and data controls protocols.
  5. Engage fully in regular supervision with your line manager.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Experience of working with a variety of people who have experienced a range of social/personal difficulties.
  2. Ability to work respectfully, cooperatively and flexibly with others both on a 1:1 basis and as part of a team.
  3. Good organisational and administration skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  4. Knowledge and experience of the work of the Criminal Justice System.
