Job description

Our client is an independent broker offering both commercial and personal insurance solutions to customers. They pride themselves on the service they offer and are very customer focused. They have a friendly and supportive culture and offer professional development and training.


We are ideally looking for a Personal Lines Account Handler to join the Personal Lines team based in the local office in Newark. This is a full time, permanent post with a competitive salary of up to £28,000- dependent on experience.


Please note this role is hybrid with 3 days in the office and two days at home but there is free parking available on site.


The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice and managing the service delivery to existing Personal Insurance customers both in person and over the phone. They will also maintain retention of renewals to achieve company income targets and provide support to clients in all aspects, in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.


Minimum Requirements:
  1. Previous experience within Personal Lines insurance or similar
  2. Acturis experience
  3. Knowledge of personal lines products and the insurance market
  4. The ability to work under pressure
  5. Excellent administrative skills and background
  6. Passion for customer services and professionalism
  7. Excellent communication skills
  8. Self-motivation
  9. The ability to work as part of a team
  10. Organisational skills
