Job description

Personal Injury Solicitor - Bristol

An established and highly regarded law firm is looking for a personal injury solicitor to join their national defendant personal injury team based in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading team working with high-profile clients across the public sector.

You'll be handling a varied and sensitive caseload of complex personal injury claims on behalf of the defendant, with a focus on employers' liability, public liability, and abuse matters, including claims involving stress, harassment, and the emergency services. The team works collaboratively across offices, and you'll be part of a firm known for embracing innovation and modern legal solutions.

The personal injury caseload is high value and of national significance, and you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced lawyers recognized as leaders in this field. The firm has a strong presence in the public sector and insurance markets, and you'll be acting for local authorities, large self-insured organizations, blue light services, and major insurers.

You'll ideally have at least 2 years' experience in defendant personal injury work, with a solid background in EL/PL. Experience dealing with sensitive or complex claims, including abuse or stress-related matters, will be an advantage.

This firm is known for its progressive and inclusive culture, offering excellent training and development opportunities and access to leading legal tech. You'll be joining a supportive environment where individuality and authenticity are encouraged.

In return, you'll be offered a good salary, hybrid working options, and an excellent benefits package that includes generous annual leave, wellbeing initiatives, and opportunities for career progression.
