Personal Care Assistant for a Teenage (Part-Time) - £12.40/hr in Leeds (FTE - £24.2k)

We are seeking a Personal Care Assistant to support a young person with physical disabilities. The role focuses on building confidence, self-esteem, and improving physical fitness through various activities, including swimming, gym workouts, and hydrotherapy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide personal care to the individual.
2. Facilitate social and leisure activities.
3. Support the individual in remaining independent.
4. Assist with transportation as needed.
5. Ensure safe administration of medication.

Required Qualifications:

1. Full UK driving license.
2. Ability to drive a motability-equipped car.
3. Training in safeguarding adults/children.
4. Knowledge of moving and handling techniques.
5. First Aid certification.

Schedule: Weekends only for 6 hours, to be agreed upon with the employee.

Note: ONA = Overnight Awake / ONS = Overnight Sleep.
