Personal Care Assistant for a Teenage Boy - Full Time @ £11.44/hr in LS17 - Leeds

We are looking for a personal care assistant for a 15-year-old boy with Down syndrome. He has a loving family and is eager to engage in activities to build independence skills. He enjoys swimming, horse riding, football, cricket, dancing, and especially bowling. He has a cheerful personality and loves to make people laugh.

The candidate should be calm and patient, providing support to ensure his safety, as he has limited awareness of danger. While his speech may not always be clear, he understands well and gets by with communication.

Qualifications

1. Experience in safeguarding adults/children
2. Food Hygiene knowledge
3. First Aid certification
4. Hand hygiene practices
5. Full UK driving license

Schedule, Pay & Hours

Pay: £11.44/hr

Availability: Tuesday to Sunday, including morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. Overnight shifts may be required (ONA = Overnight Awake / ONS = Overnight Sleep).
