Personal Care Assistant for a lady P/T @ £13.09/hr in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea - FTE - £25.5k

Location: Newbiggin-by-the-Sea

Hours: 16 Hours

Description: Female personal assistant/carer required for a lady in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea for 16 hours weekly, including a night shift.

Rates of Pay: £13.09 per hour

Main Duties:

Support a lady with physical disabilities to live as independently as possible.
Assist with personal care and dressing.
Meal preparation.
Administration of medication.

Person Specification:

Experience as a support worker desirable.
Outgoing.
Motivating.
Honest and reliable.
Respect confidentiality.
Ability to both take instructions and use own initiative.
Sense of humour.
Caring nature.

Further Information: An Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure (DBS) will have to be obtained for the successful candidate (at employer’s expense).

Training: Where required, such as in Health and Safety matters, practical training and guidance will be arranged and the care worker will be expected to attend.
