Personal Care Assistant for a 30 year old male P/T @ £12.60/hr in Bristol - FTE - £23.4k - Bristol - BS3

I am a queer man in my late twenties looking for a part-time personal assistant to support me with aspects of daily living that I find challenging due to physical disabilities. I have a fused spine and chronic pain. I also have cerebral palsy which mainly affects my right leg and mobilisation although I do not use a wheelchair. I work from home so will mostly need support there but will occasionally need you to attend appointments and events with me. My interests include comic books, superhero films, music and art.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

1. Cooking vegan meals
2. Daily housekeeping
3. Admin organisation - this will include errands to the post office etc.
4. Support with washing and dressing
5. Attending appointments and events

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

1. For this role you will need your own car
2. Good level of written and spoken English due to my dyslexia
3. Experience of personal care
4. Strong organisational skills
5. Open minded as my values are reflected in the mix of artwork around my home
6. Non-smoker due to partner's health condition
7. Ability to keep strict confidentiality around information you see/hear in my home as it is our safe space
8. Willing to engage with children as my partner has a 10 year old who will occasionally visit
