Job description

Hours: 3 hours per week (term time), 10 hours per week (holidays)

Working Pattern: Preferably Sundays during term time, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday during holidays (flexibility considered)

Are you a caring and reliable individual with a passion for supporting others? We’re looking for two Personal Assistants to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the life of a 13-year-old boy with autism and severe learning disabilities.

About the Role

Our client is non-verbal, enjoys spending time outdoors in calm, quiet areas, and has a sensory log cabin in his garden. This role involves supporting him during outings, helping him engage with activities he enjoys, and providing personal care as required.

Applicants must have:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with autism and non-verbal communication.
  • Membership in the PVG scheme (or willingness to obtain it).
  • A valid driver’s licence.
  • A caring attitude and good sense of humour.
  • Physical fitness to manage unpredictable behaviours.
  • A flexible and positive approach to work.
