Personal Assistant / Tutor Needed for 18-Year-Old Boy with Autism - Leeds LS16 Cookridge

We are recruiting a Personal Assistant (PA) for my son, an 18-year-old with Autism. He is gentle and very good to work with. Currently, he has a PA working with him for 2 hours per week. We hope you are reliable, enthusiastic, and have some understanding of Autism.

Your role may involve working 1-2 hours per week (after school or on weekends), either at home or participating in community activities or sports such as gym, running, or cycling. You will be paid £12.50-£15 per hour (from Leeds CIL) at the beginning, depending on your experience. Leeds CIL approved PA preferred; experience working with children with Autism is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities
  1. Engage in social and leisure activities.
  2. Provide training and support.
  3. Ensure the safeguarding of adults and children.
  4. Support individuals with Autism/Asperger's.
