Salary – £30,507 – £32,639 (Police Staff only)

Information about the Role

The role is a challenging and exciting one, you core role will be as PA to the National Coordinator for CT Protect and Prepare, this is a job share with the PA to the National Coordinator for Prevent.

The role is split so that you have you main role with your assigned coordinator but support each other at times of high demand or periods of leave etc.

As a personal assistant, the expectation is such that you would work closely with the staff officer to provide private office support to the principle in what can be a fast-paced and dynamic environment where no two days are the same. Core roles and responsibilities include day-to-day dealing with emails, managing a busy calendar/diary also completing administration for meetings, including action tracking and completing minutes.

It is not necessary to have held this role previously, however the expectation is that the successful candidate should demonstrate good discretion and trustworthiness as will often be party to sensitive information, good organizational skills and be able to multi-task and have good written and oral communication skills.

The Coordinator has responsibility across the whole of the UK, however you will be based at CTOC in West Brompton, there is an opportunity for Hybrid working. There is some flexibility as to which days are worked each week.

Responsibilities

The post holder will be required to do the following:

  • To provide experienced administrative support to the NCPP.
  • Prioritising work to ensure efficient running of incoming emails.
  • Responding to telephone enquiries from internal and external personnel.
  • Maintaining and preparing meeting invites with correct papers ensuring principle is prepared in advance.
  • Capturing minutes of meetings.
  • Maintenance of action tracker and all follow up actions from meetings.
  • Maintaining and updating of Risk Registers.
  • As and when necessary, booking accommodation and making travel arrangements.
  • Managing and navigating online databases, filing and storage systems.
