Personal Assistant for a Teenager

Part-Time - £13.00/hr

Location: Ripon, HG4

Job Description

A Personal Assistant is required to provide social support to a teenager with autism, learning difficulties, and neurodevelopmental delay.

The teenager is verbal and independently mobile but needs supervision and encouragement to interact in the community, with other people, and to carry out domestic tasks.

Responsibilities

1. Provide supervision and encouragement for community interaction.
2. Assist with domestic tasks.
3. Support the teenager during college holidays and occasional evenings during term time.

Qualifications

The candidate should have:

1. Good interpersonal skills.
2. A mature attitude.
3. Experience working with special needs.

Additional Information: The ideal candidate would live in the Ripon, North Yorkshire area and be female.

Hours will be over 2 days during college holidays, which are negotiable.
