Personal Assistant / Carer - Bristol - BS16

We are seeking a Personal Assistant / Carer to complete our team of 3 carers providing exceptional care to a young man. You will help support him with various care needs, ensuring his well-being and comfort in the family home.

He has:

  • A cheeky sense of humour
  • Non-verbal but does let you know what he does and doesn't want
  • He has autism and well-controlled epilepsy.
  • He enjoys going out for walks and other activities

Duties:
  • Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
  • Engage in social activities and community outings
  • Administer medication
  • Minimal paperwork
  • Work with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:
  • Experience in home care or similar caregiving roles
  • Ability to follow care plans and adapt to changing needs
  • Valid driver's license is a plus but not essential

Joining our team offers:
  • Competitive hourly rate
  • A set 3-week rota, working 1 full weekend every 3 weeks
  • Hours are 6 hour shifts, 8am - 2pm and 2pm - 8pm
  • Opportunity for additional hours to cover holiday and absences
  • Immediate start date available
