Personal Assistant Job Description
Marcilly Recruitment is seeking a high-level Personal Assistant to support two high-profile, rising stars. The successful PA will provide right-hand support across their business and personal lives, which are so intertwined with what they do. They need a super adaptable PA who can quickly switch between tasks and keep many plates spinning.
Personal Assistant Role:
The Personal Assistant’s primary role is to be the ‘right hand person’ within a high profiled household. The individual must be able to understand the importance of prioritising meetings, manage personal appointments, and be a trusted support for personal and work situations.
Salary: £60K-£75K

Hours: 09:00 – 18:00 with flexibility out of hours
Location: fluid across London between homes in Notting Hill, on set, family office, attending meetings with them etc. – usually on site five days a week
Personal Assistant Accountabilities:
- Very heavy inbox and calendar management - can be chaotic at times. Read and respond to all work emails on behalf of the principals.
- Manage RSVPs and a high volume of requests for events/collaborations/celebrities to ensure all requests are responded to within a timely manner.
- Managing communications (phone, social media, email etc) with high profile people.
- Social media management.
- Own and coordinate schedules for the upcoming weeks, updating the spreadsheet as you go.
- Being present onsite during working hours (with flexibility).
- Create a checklist every morning to check through work and personal tasks.
- Be on top of scheduling and timings to navigate principals during busy periods.
- Book all personal appointments and help manage their social calendar.
- Work closely with house staff to ensure efficiency with cleaning, housekeeping, washing, and dog walking.
- Recruit and manage household staff.
- Travel – flights, hotels, visas, cars, restaurants, itineraries, activities, credit cards etc.
- Ensure schedule and briefing docs are produced and given ahead of time, managing internal teams to ensure they are getting the info they need.
- Be adaptable and manage their ever-changing schedule whilst travelling, supporting them (either on the ground or in the air – being available out of hours on their time zone if needed).
- Property management – implementing systems and processes, managing all bills, budgets, shopping, renovations etc.
- Ensure an effective working relationship between the Personal Assistant and the individuals they will support.
- Constant liaison with internal and external stakeholders, family office, companies, press etc.
Personal Assistant Selection Criteria:
- Must have experience working as a private personal assistant / business and private mix ideally.
- The successful Personal Assistant must have demonstrated longevity within their roles.
- Excellent people skills and the proven ability to handle both delicate and complex situations whilst juggling multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, intense environment and proven ability to manage senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience of dealing with highly confidential information and ideally experience working with high-profile people.
- Ability to balance long term projects with the urgency of immediate demands.
- Excellent prioritisation skills.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to convey complex messages succinctly and convincingly.
- Experience of giving, receiving, and acting upon constructive feedback.
- Able to act with integrity and a high degree of emotional intelligence.
- Ability to work flexibly, particularly under pressure.
