ASA Recruitment are currently looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Assistant to work with a large scale client in the public sector.
This role involves assisting with accessing, updating, and retrieving information from corporate systems, coordinating activities, and ensuring the smooth preparation of documents and correspondence. The ideal candidate will be someone who can adapt to new ways of working, ensure high accuracy, and meet deadlines while adhering to security protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist a visually impaired colleague with accessing, producing, and formatting key documentation.
· Support the creation of accurate numeric work and concise written work, following Scottish Government guidelines.
· Coordinate and draft ministerial briefings, responses to correspondence, FOI requests, parliamentary questions, and media lines on Disability Equality Policy.
· Provide administrative support for internal and external meetings, including setting up meetings, drafting minutes, and liaising with stakeholders.
· Work closely with colleagues to support the wider unit, participate in projects, conduct ad-hoc research, proofread, and provide meeting support.

· Ability to prioritise and manage workloads, adapting to changing circumstances and emerging risks.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, delivering information clearly and concisely to varied audiences.
· Ability to research and analyse information to make informed decisions and recommendations.
Additional Information:
· Hybrid working in line with Scottish Government policies, with occasional travel required to other meetings (Note: Travel and subsistence costs cannot be included in the daily rate charged).
· 32 hours per week, Monday to Thursday
