Peripatetic Music Tutor

Thurrock Music Services are looking for music tutors to provide instrumental and vocal support to schools in the Thurrock area. We are looking for forward-thinking, dynamic, and highly motivated staff to join our pool of tutors.

Our music tutors will be expected to deliver tuition to pupils in individual and group settings, including whole class provision. A strategic aim of the Music Service is to expand our offer to pupils with SEND and those learning in alternative education settings. Applications from all instrumental/vocal disciplines are welcomed. Formal qualifications (such as a music teaching diploma) and/or proven teaching/performing experience are an essential requirement.

Thurrock Music Services, as part of the Greater Essex Music Hub, exists to serve the musical needs of our young people. We support schools and communities by providing musical opportunities and development for all children.
