Due to significant investment as part of the NHS Long Term Plan ambitions, we are delighted that we are now able to develop the psychological provision within the Nottinghamshire Perinatal Mental Health Services.
The Nottinghamshire Perinatal Mental Health Team is a multidisciplinary and well-established service providing tailored approaches to meet the mental health needs of women and their families in the perinatal period. You will have the opportunity for direct one-to-one and group-based therapeutic work with women experiencing a wide range of mental health problems, often relating to complex trauma or attachment difficulties. You will also have the opportunity for indirect working, supervision, consultation, and training to both colleagues and the wider maternity system. The service is also seeking to develop psychological interventions across multiple pathways, and you will be invited to contribute to innovative service development.
We are keen to recruit people who enjoy working in multi-disciplinary teams and who are creative, adaptable, and responsive to the needs of the service. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with women and their families and whose values and principles are aligned with the organisation, including compassion and a person/family-centred focus.
