Contract Type: Temporary (Maternity Cover)

Are you a passionate and creative Performing Arts Teacher looking for a new opportunity? We are currently seeking a dynamic teacher to join a vibrant and engaging mixed secondary school in the heart of Deal on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on students' learning and development in the Performing Arts Department.

Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum in Performing Arts to a range of students. You will be expected to support the ongoing development of the department and contribute to the school's ethos and values.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons across Performing Arts disciplines.
2. Implement a curriculum that is appropriately differentiated to meet the needs of all students.
3. Set high expectations for student achievements and behaviour to ensure all students reach their full potential.
4. Contribute to the values and ethos of the school, fostering a positive learning environment.
5. Collaborate with the Performing Arts Department to continue developing and enhancing the curriculum.

Who We're Looking For:

1. A qualified Teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a passion for Performing Arts and a strong commitment to student development.
2. A proactive and enthusiastic educator with excellent interpersonal skills.
3. An outstanding classroom practitioner who sets high expectations and creates a stimulating learning environment.
4. Someone who is adaptable and dedicated to planning and delivering a curriculum that inspires students and supports their achievements.
