The post will be based within the Strategy & Performance Team and will be supporting us in delivering our service priorities and projects and to support schools to realise savings and drive continuous improvement. Pay Details: Grade 8, SCP 26 – 30 £36,124 - £39,513 per annum, £18.72 - £20.48 (Hourly Rate)
Hours of Work / Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 37 hours
Main Place of Work: Civic Offices/Hybrid
Temporary Reason: Fixed term for 2 years.
Description:
This role will play a pivotal role in collaborating with school leaders and Business Managers to undertake procurement activities and provide advice/support to maximise opportunities for schools to achieve budgetary savings and improve efficiency and quality of services through effective procurement/contracting practice. The focus of this role is on supporting schools with their procurement/contracting to ensure that they are securing best value for products/services and that appropriate mechanisms are in place for the monitoring of contracts to ensure quality and contractual compliance. This role will also support the delivery of key priorities/projects to drive service improvement and the implementation of strategy, policy and performance work.
