Job description

We are looking for an organised and proactive People/Recruitment Assistant to support our People & Talent team. This role will play a key part in the hiring process, HR administration, and employee experience, ensuring a smooth and efficient people function.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in HR and recruitment within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role will require 3 days a week in the London office.

You’ll deliver genuine, heartfelt experiences to our people; from the hellos, high fives to goodbyes, everyone will feel part of the Yapily family.

You will provide office, recruitment and people administration support to the Director of People & Talent at Yapily. From getting our people off to a flying start, to providing operational best practice advice across the full spectrum of People Operations and keeping our department organised and efficient; you’ll create and maintain a dynamic workplace culture that supports the achievement of results. You’ve got an eye for detail and understand the importance of confidentiality, empathy and relationship building to keep our people happy and thriving in their careers at Yapily.

Requirements
Recruitment Support
  • Assist with end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Coordinate candidate communication, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment database.
  • Conduct initial CV reviews and arrange interviews with hiring managers.
  • Assist with onboarding, including offer letters, contract preparation, and background checks.
HR Administration
  • Be the first point of contact and manage, respond to and escalate any emails that come through the people inbox.
  • Carry out full onboarding processes.
  • Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and HR databases.
  • Support the Director of People & Talent with day-to-day HR tasks and projects.
  • Assist with payroll preparation, benefits administration, and leave tracking.
  • Help coordinate training, development programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
  • Support with data entry, HR reports and documentation for audits.
  • Contribute to improving HR processes and best practices.
Office Support & EA Support
  • Cover the EA / Office manager role on holidays.
  • Active member of the Social committee, supporting with budgeting, planning and coordinating other members of the committee.
  • Manage consensus data for Private Medical insurance.
