Job Description
What you'll be doing:
- Provide professional HR support to colleagues within the EMEA region.
- Identify case trends, seek out opportunities for process improvement, proactively look at ways to support employee and manager self-service, and streamline processes.
- Manage family leave and flexible working requests, working with managers and employees to support the leave of absence and flexible working processes.
- Manage benefits processes.
- Support the onboarding process and lead new starter inductions.
- Carry out pre-employment checks relating to referencing and/or right to work, ensuring compliance with our screening policy and Home Office requirements in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records in Workday and other HR systems, ensuring that documentation is stored appropriately and in line with data protection requirements.
- Produce letters, contracts, and other employee documentation in an accurate and timely way.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues, partners, and the People team, treating employees fairly and in line with good practice and legislation.
- Raise issues that cannot be resolved at the first point of contact.
The Successful Applicant
What we are looking for:
- Experience in an HR Advisory role with exposure to HR processes, policies, and best practices across multiple countries in the EMEA region.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment, working closely and collaboratively with others to deliver results.
- Proactive in identifying areas for enhancement and promoting change.
- Confidence in leading in-person onboarding sessions.
- Curiosity, seeking to understand the why as well as the how.
- Good understanding of HR legal principles for the UK and the rest of EMEA, leading processes and projects with a high degree of consistency.
- In-depth knowledge of UK right to work requirements and the ability to maintain compliance.
- Exceptional organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage complex requests and a demanding workload, prioritising appropriately.
- Customer-focused approach, experienced in delivering excellence in service and support, and working within agreed SLAs.
- Systems knowledge of Workday or ServiceNow is desirable.
