Job Description

Reporting into the People Partnering and Operations Manager, you'll play a key role within the People Operations Team in supporting our employees and processes across our global markets together in support of our Strategic Plan.

You'll work closely with the partnering, operations, reward & payroll teams to support the overall Global People Function and the wider business delivering operational excellence and excellent customer service. You'll provide generalist support across the business through reporting, administration, data maintenance, payroll coordination, reward & benefit and employee lifecycle coordination.

There will be an expectation that you will provide day to day operational and transactional support across the People and Strategy Function where necessary. There will be an ongoing requirement in line with your skills set for you to be actively involved in ‘continuous improvement projects’ relating to people Processes, Systems, Policy & Practice, supporting efficient cost management practices and the quality assurance of people data.

Day to day you'll

  1. Manage the People Team mailbox by providing advice and guidance to employees globally on all people related queries and escalating to the partnering team or other parts of the People and Strategy function as required.
  2. Support with a range of administration tasks in relation to employee life cycle including internal role changes, absence, new start and leaver process.
  3. Involved in continuously improving our processes, systems, policies and practices.
  4. Work in collaboration with the wider People Function to support routine tasks ensuring you maintain the accuracy and integrity of our HRIS data to enable increased reporting capabilities.
  5. Perform data cleansing and regular audits where necessary of both HRIS and electronic employee & contractor files globally.
  6. Administration process of global reward activities including Annual Salary Review, Incentives, Bonus, Coding and Benchmarking of roles, Annual Benefits Renewals / Reviews.
  7. Global reporting requests with the ability to interpret data as required by the business to enable the People and Strategy Function to enhance informed decision making.
  8. Contribute to and support key HR projects as required (i.e., HRIS implementation, Global Payroll Implementation).
  9. Manage and coordinate global payrolls.
  10. Help with the automation of our systems and processes whilst identifying opportunities for simplification in our ways of working.
  11. Complete references on all Insights New Start either via suppliers or directly with referees depending on the source of the candidate.
  12. Complete Right to work / Criminal background checks on all Insights New Starts to ensure eligibility to work.

Qualifications

  1. Experience in a support role using people systems (SAGE People would be an advantage).
  2. Extensive customer facing expertise where providing an excellent level of service whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail has been paramount.
  3. Involved in continuous improvement with systems & processes.
  4. Skilled and knowledgeable in HR best practices / processes.
  5. Ownership of data making regular and accurate updates to systems.
  6. Ability to think outside the box and make decisions with confidence and assertiveness.
  7. Confident in your ability to handle a variety of tasks throughout each day in a positive and engaging way with colleagues across 18 different offices globally.

Additional information

The job is hybrid with no set pattern to be in the Dundee office and we offer flexibility around this. Ideally you could be in the office once a week or fortnight to connect in person with your colleagues in the People Function and across the wider business.
