Giving the world more time

For the first time in human history we have the technology, data, and insights to redefine health. Together with our partners, we will make the leap from reactive to proactive medicine. By collectively benefiting from the data we individually generate, we can all live our longest, fullest lives. Huma partners with scientists, technologists, healthcare, and life sciences professionals to understand, treat, and ultimately prevent ill health. Giving knowledge and power to those with medical conditions, while saving clinicians time, energy, and valuable resources.

We are looking for a People Operations Analyst to join our People team and provide essential HR support across the business. The role is key in ensuring smooth people operations, supporting employees, and assisting with HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating a positive employee experience. Candidates with an engineering background in any discipline are preferred.

Your Mission

  • Own the integrity and quality of all employee data across all aspects of the People function, ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal policies
  • Act as a super user of all People systems, e.g. Hibob, Peakon, Lever, DocuSign, KeyNote, and Excel, ensuring accurate data management and process optimisation
  • Coordinate People processes across the full employee lifecycle – from onboarding and performance management to offboarding
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in HR records, maintaining GDPR compliance and company policies
  • Provide reports & insights on general People activity, tracking employee data regularly to support data-driven decision-making
  • Manage benefit and reward programmes, liaising with third parties and overseeing annual review processes
  • Support the annual variable pay and share option programmes, serving as the primary contact for finance in the global payroll process
  • Be the first point of contact for employee HR queries, resolving at least 90% directly and escalating complex cases when necessary
  • Support recruitment processes when needed by conducting background checks, assisting in shortlisting, scheduling interviews, and issuing employment contracts
  • Be the Regulatory Champion for the department, identifying continual improvement opportunities for People processes
  • Ensure full adherence to all data privacy responsibilities, safeguarding employee information and maintaining compliance standards
  • Own employee communication channels, ensuring timely HR updates and engagement initiatives
  • Provide general People support to the business as required, ensuring a seamless employee experience

From day one in this role, we’ll expect you to have

  • 2-3 years of experience in a People Operations, HR Analyst, or People Coordinator role, with a strong focus on data and process management
  • Proficiency in HR systems (e.g. Hibob, Lever, DocuSign) and strong aptitude for HRIS, ATS, and data-driven People processes
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in reporting and deriving insights from employee data
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of People processes and best practices, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll, and compliance
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in employee data, reports, and compliance documentation
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ensure GDPR compliance in all HR processes
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively support employees and collaborate across teams
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude to drive process improvements
