Our Pensions Administration business continues to grow and we are now looking for an experienced Administration Manager to join our vibrant Portsmouth office with hybrid working. This is an exciting role and would most likely suit someone with previous experience in a similar role.
As a Pensions Administration Manager with XPS you will:
- Oversee day to day management of client relationships with trustees and corporate clients, and participate in trustee and client meetings.
- Ensure provision of high-quality pension administration and consultancy services.
- Participate in strategic business changes.
- Provide expert advice solutions to pensions queries and pensions consultative advice; keeping abreast of technical and legislative developments within the pensions industry.
- Oversee the project management of annual and ad-hoc projects such as renewals, benefit statements, pension increases, scheme returns, and trustees' reports and accounts.
- Take responsibility for all aspects of admin billing, in conjunction with Operations Manager and/or Client Manager.
- Train colleagues with less experience in the team.
- Manage total workflow for the designated team, including workload allocation and prioritisation.
- Have formal staff management and mentoring responsibilities.
- Lead non-client activities, conducting internal audits and implementing changes for quality improvement.
Your profile
Essential Criteria
- Significant experience dealing with DB schemes within the pensions industry
- Expert knowledge on pension administration activities and legislation
- Previous supervisory, leadership and management experience
- Project management experience
- Knowledge and experience of MS Office Products such as Excel and Word
- Strong organisation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A completed or progression within a relevant pension's qualification
