Job Title: Primary Sports Coach / P.E. Teacher
Location: Balsall Heath
Salary: £130 to £190 per day
Start Date: Immediate

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Sports Coach / P.E. Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical education lessons that inspire a love for sport and physical activity among our students. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on young children's development, fostering their skills, teamwork, and confidence through engaging and inclusive sports programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver exciting and effective PE lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Encourage all pupils to participate and develop their skills in various sports.
• Organize and oversee extracurricular sports clubs and school competitions.
• Foster a positive and inclusive sporting environment, promoting teamwork and resilience.
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students during physical activities.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate physical activity across the curriculum.
• Maintain sports equipment and resources to a high standard.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• A relevant qualification in Sports Coaching, Physical Education, or a related field.
• Experience working with primary-aged children in a sports or teaching capacity.
• A passion for physical education and the ability to inspire young learners.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• First Aid and Child Protection training (or willingness to undertake).
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
