PE Teacher

Flourish Education is recruiting for a PE Teacher to join an OFSTED-rated OUTSTANDING school in North Worcestershire. This position is set to begin immediately after the February half-term break. Initially, it will be a day-to-day supply role; however, there is potential for it to transition into a long-term position. The role involves teaching Physical Education (PE) to students across both Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), delivering engaging and dynamic lessons that align with the national curriculum. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for sports, the ability to inspire students, and excellent classroom management skills.

Job Role For The PE Teacher Role

1. Deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) aligned with the National Curriculum.
2. Ensure excellent subject knowledge and effective behaviour management strategies.
3. Plan and assess students' progress, adapting lessons as necessary.
4. Foster a positive learning environment in line with school policies.
5. Work collaboratively with staff and students to promote physical education.

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT).
2. Experience teaching PE in a Secondary School setting.
3. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students.
4. Passion for inspiring young people and encouraging participation in physical activity.
5. Commitment to making a positive impact within the school community.

1. £160 - £200 per day, equating to £31,200 to £39,000 per annum based on full-time work.
2. The option of PAYE or Umbrella.
3. Holiday Pay - for PAYE candidates, 12.07% of your day rate is accrued into your holiday pot.
4. Pension Contributions.
5. Free KCSIE compliant Safeguarding and Prevent Duty Training, including modules on legislation, FGM, and abuse.
6. £100 welcome to the team bonus.

8. Regular contact throughout the registration process and while in work.

This position is at a highly regarded Secondary School in North Worcestershire, easily commutable from Bromsgrove, Redditch, Kidderminster, Stourport-on-Severn, Droitwich, and Halesowen. The school has excellent transport links and onsite parking.
