About the Role:
As a Teacher of Physical Education, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality PE education and inspiring students to develop a love for sports and physical activity. You will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals to create engaging and effective lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students. Key Responsibilities of PE Teacher:

1. Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students, ensuring all students are motivated and challenged.
2. Teach a range of physical activities and sports to students aged 11-16.
3. Organize and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events, fostering a sense of teamwork and enthusiasm for physical fitness.
4. Monitor and assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
5. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external partners to enhance the PE curriculum and support student development.
6. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
7. Promote health and safety in all activities, ensuring students understand the importance of safe practices.

Requirements of PE Teacher:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Experience in teaching physical education is essential.
3. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
4. The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best in physical education.
5. Commitment to promoting a love for sports and physical fitness.
6. Relevant qualifications or training in physical education (desirable but not essential).

To work with GSL Education as a PE Teacher, you will need:

1. Have the right to work in the UK.
2. Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
3. Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
