Job description

This school is seeking a passionate and energetic PE Teacher to join their vibrant staff team. We are looking for someone who can instill a lifelong love of physical activity, promote healthy lifestyles, and help students achieve their full potential—both on and off the field. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as PE Teacher:

1. Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3/4/5.
2. Foster teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship in all students.
3. Contribute to the planning and delivery of inter-house and inter-school sports events.
4. Play an active role in the school’s extracurricular and enrichment programmes.
5. Monitor progress and help students set and achieve personal fitness and performance goals.

Ideal PE Teacher:

1. Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
2. Has a degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
3. Is enthusiastic, motivating, and committed to student wellbeing and achievement.
4. Has experience teaching a range of sports and activities.
5. Brings creativity to lessons and builds strong relationships with students as a PE Teacher.
6. Is keen to contribute to wider school life and promote physical activity across the curriculum.
