A bit about the school:
This school has worked with Tradewind Recruitment for the past seven years and we have provided staff to almost every department in the school. It is an OFSTED graded 'outstanding' School, known for its excellent teaching environment, behaviour, leadership, and teaching and learning. We have also recruited for this specific department a number of times over the years and have placed permanent staff at the school; feedback is strong on all fronts.
The school is located in the borough of Camden, with great accessibility from other areas of London. Onsite parking is available for all staff, and it is a short distance from several underground stations by bus. The current cohort of staff travel from across the capital, so please submit an application even if Camden is not a borough you have previously considered.
A bit about the role:
To teach PE at Key Stage 3 and 4, working in a fantastic department led by a very strong Head of Department. Feedback from staff in this department has been very positive, and Tradewind has successfully placed several full-time PE Teachers here over the years.
The right candidate will:
- Have proven success teaching PE at Key Stage 3 and 4, or good feedback from placements for those completing their qualification this July.
- Have QTS or equivalent.
- Have a UK right-to-work.
- Show a commitment to high standards.
- Have a keen interest in teaching and learning styles.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm to match your subject knowledge.
- Be warmly welcomed as a Newly Qualified Teacher due to the support available in the department.
We are looking for:
- A PE Teacher who can teach across Key Stage 3 and 4 and has excellent subject knowledge.
- A committed practitioner who aims for the highest standards in teaching and learning.
- A candidate interested in potential leadership responsibilities in the future, as the school is known for internal promotions.
- Availability to start in January 2025.
