Job description

Location: Secondary Schools across Bolton, Bury & Salford
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent or Long-Term
Salary: MPS/UPS – £31,650 to £49,084 per annum

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dynamic Physical Education Teachers for a number of secondary schools in the Bolton, Bury, and Salford areas. These schools are looking to welcome new staff from September 2025 to join their high-performing Physical Education departments.

As a Physical Education Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a broad and balanced curriculum to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and a lifelong love of sports and activity. You will have access to excellent sports facilities and will be part of a supportive and experienced department.

What we're looking for:

  1. UK Qualified Teacher Status with a specialism in Physical Education
  2. A strong track record (or the potential) of raising achievement in Physical Education
  3. Ability to plan inclusive and engaging lessons, both practical and theory-based
  4. Confidence in managing behaviour in a busy classroom or sports setting
  5. Qualified and experienced teachers are welcome to apply
