About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Sports Coach / P.E. Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical education lessons that inspire a love for sport and physical activity among our students. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on young children’s development, fostering their skills, teamwork, and confidence through engaging and inclusive sports programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver exciting and effective PE lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Encourage all pupils to participate and develop their skills in various sports.
- Organize and oversee extracurricular sports clubs and school competitions.
- Foster a positive and inclusive sporting environment, promoting teamwork and resilience.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during physical activities.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate physical activity across the curriculum.
- Maintain sports equipment and resources to a high standard.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant qualification in Sports Coaching, Physical Education, or a related field.
- Experience working with primary-aged children in a sports or teaching capacity.
- A passion for physical education and the ability to inspire young learners.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- First Aid and Child Protection training (or willingness to undertake).
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
