Salary: GBP 25,000 - GBP 30,000 per year

Are you passionate about Physical Education and eager to inspire the next generation of athletes? GSL Education's Hull branch is seeking a dedicated PE Specialist to join our client school from September 2024. We welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are enthusiastic about making a difference through sport and physical education.

Job Summary: As a PE Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and high-quality physical education lessons. You will inspire students to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle while helping them develop their physical skills and teamwork abilities.

PE Specialist Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver inspiring and effective PE lessons across all key stages.
2. Plan and implement a diverse and inclusive PE curriculum that caters to all skill levels.
3. Encourage students to participate in a variety of sports and physical activities.
4. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
5. Organise and lead extracurricular sports activities and events.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to promote a culture of physical activity within the school.
7. Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

PE Specialist Requirements:

1. A relevant degree and a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., QTS).
2. A passion for Physical Education and a commitment to promoting an active lifestyle.
3. Experience teaching PE is desirable, but ECTs are welcome to apply.
4. Strong communication and organisational skills.
5. Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
6. Enthusiasm for planning and leading extracurricular sports activities.
7. A proactive approach to student development and wellbeing.
