Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who is passionate and experienced in Sports Coaching. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that has a love for Sports and who is considering a career in education and wants to gain valuable experience.

As a PE Apprentice/Sports Coach, you will:

1. Maintain good order and behaviour thereby facilitating learning and safeguarding health and safety in school and authorised school activities elsewhere.
2. Participate in whole school, departmental and pastoral and individual arrangements for in-service training and professional development.
3. Cover lessons and clubs when required.
4. Support on away fixtures.
5. Undertake a duty as published rotas.
6. Take part in scheduled meetings with colleagues and, if necessary, parents in accordance with the school's published calendar.
7. Take delegated responsibility for the implementation of the Health and Safety Act in accordance with the Schools and the LEAs Health and Safety Policy.
8. Ensure children are safe within school.
9. Keep an up-to-date record of achievement in line with the expectations required of the Level 2 apprenticeship course.
10. Assist the faculty in ensuring that office spaces, teaching areas and storage spaces remain neat and tidy.

Requirements as a PE Apprentice/Sports Coach:

1. Have suitable educational qualifications and relevant experience.
2. A knowledge of current educational issues especially in relation to pastoral care.
3. Have an excellent punctuality, attendance and health record.
4. Be aware of the need to ensure children are safe within school.
