Service / PDI Technician

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (Depending on experience, certifications and productivity)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm (5-day week) - No Weekends!

We are looking for a highly capable and detail-oriented Service / Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Technician to join our team. This is a key role requiring someone who takes pride in delivering consistently high-quality work with a focus on reliability, efficiency, and precision. You will be working on used cars, of all makes and models.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Carry out thorough and meticulous pre-sale servicing and pre-delivery inspections
2. Ensure vehicles are prepared to the highest standards with no room for error
3. Use and interpret car electronics and diagnostic machines effectively
4. Follow guided diagnostics and manufacturer-specific procedures with accuracy
5. Maintain a neat, tidy, and organised working environment
6. Deliver work at a high level of quality and consistency, with minimal or no comebacks

Requirements:

1. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
2. Competent in using vehicle diagnostics and electronics tools
3. Ability to work independently and efficiently, with strong organisational skills

Desired Qualities:

1. Previous experience in a similar role within a dealership or fast-paced workshop
2. Relevant certifications and training are an advantage
3. A proactive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic
